The Good Food Good Moves Make It Boxes have been created to make cooking healthy, delicious food simple, accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Developed as part of the Good Food Good Moves programme with Sport for Confidence and Essex County Council, each Easy Read Make It Box provides a fun, practical way for people with learning disabilities to develop their cooking skills, build confidence in the kitchen and become more independent around food and mealtimes.
Each box contains pre-weighed dry ingredients, an Easy Read step-by-step recipe and the information needed to create a delicious dish at home or within a supported setting.
The recipes are designed to encourage participants to get involved at every stage – from recognising ingredients and following instructions to weighing, mixing, preparing, cooking and, of course, enjoying the finished dish!
Boxes are dispatched on the last working day of the month ordered and will be sent via courier with a 3-5 working day delivery.
